Thi-Qar Technical College held its regular council meeting today, Sunday, August 24, 2025, chaired by the Dean of the College, Prof. Dr. Hussein Tukan Abdullah, and attended by the Assistant Deans and the heads of the scientific and administrative departments.

The council discussed a number of academic and administrative issues aimed at developing the higher education environment and enhancing the scientific and service levels provided to students, as well as reviewing the college’s preparations for the new academic year.

During the meeting, emphasis was placed on strengthening cooperation between the college’s departments, supporting research and student activities, and following up on administrative and logistical matters to help provide a solid educational environment in line with the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research’s plans.

At the conclusion of the meeting, the Dean stressed the importance of continuing to work as one team and intensifying efforts to achieve the college’s goals and mission in serving the community and graduating distinguished scientific competencies.
