The College was established in 2014 and occupies an area of (10) acres of land located northeast of the city of ThiQar (Al-Nasiriyah) On the highway near the Alesslahy Prison.
 

Vision, Mission, Objectives

To establish an advanced, innovative educational system based on the needs of the labor market and in a manner that meets the needs of the current and emerging requirements of the public and private sectors, with the aim of advancing to the ranks of global academic institutions.

College’s Mission: –

To provide high-quality technical education that makes the educational process more efficient and distinctive, expands its base in both quantity and quality, establishes the foundations for sustainable human development and professional ethics, and responds quickly to changing needs by keeping pace with scientific and technological developments, external openness, and accrediting education to keep pace with the labor market and ensure the quality of the targeted learning outcome.

College Objectives: –

1. To graduate qualified academic and practical cadres specialized in financial and accounting matters, as well as highly competent engineers in the field of electromechanical engineering.2. To provide graduates with information, systems, and applied methods in their field of specialization.3. To participate in scientific conferences and seminars.4. To organize training courses for members of government agencies and segments of society.5. Cooperating with local, Arab, and international scientific institutions to keep pace with scientific development.6 – Participating in the development of the region through scientific consultations in administrative and engineering fields.

 

Duration of Study

 
 
The college program lasts four years for high school graduates and includes both theoretical and practical components, with the practical component accounting for 40% of the course units in some departments. The college admits high school graduates from both scientific and literary branches for the Department of Accounting Techniques, and from the scientific branch for the Department of Electromechanical Systems Techniques, through the Central Admission Department of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research. Additionally, outstanding students from specialized institutes with relevant qualifications related to the college’s available programs are also admitted.

 

Scientific fields

There are three main fields of study at the college. Graduates are awarded a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting Technologies, Electromechanical Systems Engineering, and Cybersecurity Technologies Engineering after four years of study. The fields of study are:

The Southern Technical University felt that it should play a role in multidisciplinary education. This university sought approval for the development of the College in the 2014 academic year. We are working in this Youth Foundation College, which is one of the latest institutions of the Southern Technical University. We are working hard to establish a College with a high level of education with highly qualifications teaching staff, who is in line with the global development in higher education and scientific research. The College has ambitious plans to adopt the best modern methods of education, create distinguished research centers, and establish a relationship of cooperation and knowledge exchange with the relevant colleges.at the end of this speech, I am pleased to congratulate the students of the college on their belonging to this scientific edifice, and tug on his hand and recommend them to make the science and knowledge of their way In this  life, and assure them that the ThiQar Technical College and its faculty members, employees and College Admiration are making the utmost effort to provide the educational milieu is suitable for college students in order to achieve the highest the first batch of students in the school year 2014 and today is the first batch graduated in 2018.
