The Technical College of Dhi Qar held its regular council meeting for the month of September today, Wednesday, September 10, 2025, chaired by the Dean of the College, Professor Dr. Hussein Tukan Abdullah, and attended by the Assistant Deans for Scientific and Administrative Affairs as well as the Heads of the scientific departments.

During the meeting, the following key points were reviewed:

• Emphasis on monitoring the progress of the second-round examinations.

• Discussion of the admission inputs for the Department of Cybersecurity Engineering Technologies.

• Confirmation of completing the assignment schedules for faculty members and technicians across all departments.

• Voting on the logo of the Cybersecurity Department.

• Discussion of several issues related to student affairs and the appointment of permanent committee members for the scientific departments.

The council also addressed the follow-up on preparations of the scientific departments for the final second-round examinations, reviewed the requirements for launching postgraduate studies, and discussed a number of proposals and memorandums concerning faculty and student affairs.

In his remarks, the Dean stressed the importance of concerted efforts and strengthening the spirit of teamwork in order to elevate the scientific and administrative performance of the college, calling for intensified work to achieve its objectives in serving the community and meeting the needs of comprehensive development.
