The Dean of Thi-Qar Technical College, Prof. Dr. Hussein Tukan Abdullah, received in his official office the Deputy Governor of Thi-Qar for Monitoring and Planning Affairs, Eng. Razaq Al-Ali, on Monday, August 4, 2025. The meeting was attended by the Assistant Dean for Administrative and Financial Affairs, Asst. Prof. Dr. Hassan Talib Hashem, the representative of the Deputy Governor, Mr. Hussam Adel Al-Saeedi, along with a number of heads of academic departments in the college.

During the meeting, discussions focused on prospects of joint cooperation between the college and the local government, as well as ways to develop educational and technical programs in line with the development needs of Thi-Qar Province. The talks also addressed support for the college’s future projects and alignment with the local labor market.

Prof. Dr. Hussein Tukan Abdullah stressed the importance of continuous communication and coordination with governmental institutions to enhance the quality of technical education and ensure integration between educational outputs and the province’s needs.

For his part, the Deputy Governor for Monitoring and Planning Affairs, Eng. Razaq Al-Ali, praised the effective role of the college in serving the community and preparing technical cadres that contribute to the development of various sectors.

This visit comes within the framework of institutional partnership between higher education and the local government, and to activate the developmental role of Thi-Qar Technical College in accordance with the orientations of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.
