Thi-Qar Technical College Holds a Scientific Symposium on “The Role of Role Models in Shaping Human Behavior in the Workplace”

Under the patronage of the Dean of Thi-Qar Technical College, Prof. Dr. Hussein Twkan Abdullah, the Legal Affairs Division organized a scientific symposium on Tuesday, September 2, 2025, entitled “The Role of Role Models in Shaping Human Behavior in the Workplace.” The event was attended by the Assistant Dean for Scientific and Student Affairs, Prof. Dr. Shawqi Khalaf Mohammed, Mr. Hassan Fahad Al-Ghalibi, and Sheikh Aqeel Abdul-Munem Al-Tarfi from the Al-Thaqalayn Cultural Center / Department of Intellectual and Cultural Affairs at the Holy Shrine of Imam Hussein.

The lecture was delivered by Sheikh Ali Abdul-Razzaq Abdul-Wahed, who discussed the role of role models in refining human behavior, stressing the importance of values and principles in building a balanced personality that contributes to improving the work environment.

The symposium aimed to clarify the role of role models in guiding human behavior toward professional and ethical commitment, as well as in raising awareness of values and principles that help build a balanced and influential personality in the workplace. It also sought to present practical examples of role models that students and staff could benefit from in their professional lives, encourage students to develop their personal and professional conduct in line with ethical values, and open a cultural and intellectual dialogue on the importance of role models in enhancing both the work and social environment.

At the conclusion of the symposium, the Dean of the College presented certificates of appreciation to the speakers in recognition of their valuable contributions to the success of the event.
