The Student Activities Unit at Thi-Qar Technical College organized an educational and awareness seminar titled “Challenges Facing Youth in the Modern Era”, delivered by Sayyid Mohsen Mohammed Taqi Al-Madrasi. During the seminar, he discussed the main intellectual, social, and psychological challenges faced by young people amid rapid societal and technological changes, emphasizing the importance of awareness, knowledge, and adherence to authentic values in overcoming these challenges and shaping active, responsible youth in society.

The seminar aimed to shed light on the reality of contemporary youth and to enhance their cultural and intellectual awareness of the risks of behavioral and moral deviations resulting from technological developments. It also encouraged students to uphold ethical values and to develop critical and positive thinking skills when addressing modern-day issues.

The seminar was attended by the Dean of Thi-Qar Technical College, Professor Dr. Hussein Toukan Abdullah; the Assistant Dean for Scientific and Student Affairs, Professor Dr. Shawqi Khalaf Mohammed; the Assistant Dean for Administrative and Financial Affairs, Assistant Professor Dr. Hassan Talib Hashem; along with several faculty members and students who actively participated in discussions that enriched the seminar with valuable ideas and perspectives.

At the conclusion of the event, the Dean of the College presented a certificate of appreciation to Sayyid Mohsen Mohammed Taqi Al-Madrasi in recognition of his valuable contribution and efforts in promoting intellectual and cultural awareness among the college’s students.
