The ThiQar Technical College organized a volunteer campaign to plant trees and ornamental plants in the college gardens, adding beautiful and scenic views to the campus. The campaign was launched with the participation of the Dean of the College, Professor Dr. Baqer Turki Atiyah Al-Lami, along with wide participation from the college’s staff and students.

The Dean emphasized the importance of fostering a spirit of teamwork and volunteerism among the youth to promote a culture of care and raise environmental and health awareness in the community. He noted that the college is striving to increase green spaces to create a conducive atmosphere for its students. Greening the college gardens is a significant part of the plan to maintain green spaces due to their role in purifying the environment and creating a pleasant atmosphere for the students.
