The Dean of Thi Qar Technical College, Professor Dr. Hussein Toukan Abdullah, visited the University of Sumer as part of efforts to enhance joint cooperation between higher education institutions and to develop academic and scientific relations.

He was received by the President of the University of Sumer, Professor Dr. Adel Radi Al-Zarkani, accompanied by Professor Dr. Ali Manea Al-Tamimi, Assistant President of the University for Scientific Affairs, and Professor Dr. Ali Mohsen Badi, Assistant President for Administrative and Financial Affairs.

During the visit, prospects for scientific and academic cooperation and the exchange of expertise between the two sides were discussed, in a manner that contributes to supporting the educational and research process and serving students and the community.

The visit also included a field tour with the President of the University to the College of Medicine, where the Dean of Thi Qar Technical College reviewed the recently established scientific laboratories and lecture halls, which are equipped with the latest devices and educational facilities, reflecting the level of development in infrastructure and the educational environment at the university.

Professor Dr. Hussein Toukan praised the warm reception and generous hospitality, as well as the efforts exerted by the Presidency of the University of Sumer in developing the academic and scientific reality, emphasizing the importance of continued communication and coordination among universities in a way that serves higher education in Iraq.
