Sponsored by the President of Southern Technical University, Professor Dr. Adnan Abdullah Ateeq, and under the direct supervision of the Dean of Thi Qar Technical College, Professor Dr. Hussein Toukan Abdullah, the activities of the “Seventh Annual Student Research Conference” for the academic year 2025–2026 commenced on Thursday, April 30, 2026, amid distinguished academic attendance and the participation of an elite group of researchers and outstanding students.

A Vision Toward the Future

The conference, held under the title “Today’s Innovation… Shaping Tomorrow,” aims to provide a solid scientific platform for showcasing students’ research achievements and transforming academic ideas into practical projects that serve society and meet labor market needs. The college conference hall witnessed presentations of a variety of innovative research projects addressing scientific and technological solutions aligned with global developments.

 Key Conference Activities

• Discussion Sessions: Student research papers were reviewed and discussed by specialized scientific committees to evaluate academic rigor and innovation.
• Supporting Innovators: Emphasis was placed on the university’s role in nurturing young talents and overcoming obstacles facing their research journey.
• Strengthening Technical Identity: Highlighting the role of Thi Qar Technical College as a key contributor to sustainable development in the governorate.
