Under the patronage of the Dean of Thi Qar Technical College, Professor Dr. Hussein Toukan Abdullah, the college organized a humanitarian blood donation campaign on Tuesday, April 28, 2026, in cooperation with the Blood Bank of Thi Qar Governorate. The campaign witnessed wide participation marked by a strong sense of national responsibility among students and staff members, aiming to contribute to saving the lives of patients and injured individuals, while promoting the values of human solidarity among the college community.

This initiative reflects the spirit of social solidarity and humanitarian responsibility adopted by the college in support of the local health sector, contributing to efforts aimed at saving the lives of patients and those in need.

In this context, the Dean emphasized the importance of such activities in promoting the values of giving and enhancing the role of academic institutions in serving society. He also expressed his pride in the remarkable response shown by the college’s staff and students and their active participation in this humanitarian initiative.

Ms. Eman Karim Hussein, Head of the Women’s Affairs Unit at the college, supervised and organized the campaign. She praised the efforts of the medical teams and expressed her gratitude to all donors who contributed to the success of this noble humanitarian initiative.
