The Central Committee assigned to review institutional accreditation files at the Southern Technical University, headed by the Assistant President for Scientific Affairs, Professor Dr. Waleed Abduljaleel Al-Hassibi, conducted a visit to Al-Nasiriyah Technical Institute to examine and review the institutional accreditation files of the university’s constituent colleges and institutes individually, including those of Thi Qar Technical College and Al-Nasiriyah Technical Institute. This initiative comes as part of the university’s efforts to strengthen quality standards and enhance academic and administrative performance.

The committee was received by the Dean of Thi Qar Technical College, Professor Dr. Hussein Toukan Abdullah, and the Dean of Al-Nasiriyah Technical Institute, Professor Dr. Khawam Risan Hussein. The committee’s work included auditing documents and data, reviewing performance indicators related to educational quality, governance, strategic planning, infrastructure, and educational services, as well as discussing mechanisms for developing institutional performance in line with accreditation and quality requirements.

The Dean of Thi Qar Technical College emphasized the importance of such visits and central committees in supporting the university’s quality assurance and institutional accreditation journey. He noted that continuous follow-up of accreditation files and the exchange of expertise among the university’s formations contribute to enhancing academic and administrative performance and achieving the Southern Technical University’s goals in continuous development.
