The Dean of Thi Qar Technical College, Professor Dr. Hussein Toukan Abdullah, met with the Secretary-General of the Council of Ministers, Dr. Hamid Al-Ghazi, during his visit to Thi Qar Governorate, where he inaugurated a number of service and development projects across the province.

The meeting was attended by the Governor of Thi Qar, Mr. Haitham Al-Hamdani, the Head of the Thi Qar Reconstruction Fund, as well as several directors of government departments and local officials.

During the meeting, discussions focused on the current status of development projects at Thi Qar Technical College and ways to support them in order to enhance the educational environment and improve infrastructure and services provided to students.

Dr. Hamid Al-Ghazi affirmed his support for the college’s projects, noting that several of these projects had previously received official approvals. He also directed the relevant authorities to follow up on the procedures for their inclusion and funding through the Thi Qar Reconstruction Fund, in line with the government’s commitment to supporting higher education and academic institutions.

For his part, Professor Dr. Hussein Toukan Abdullah expressed his gratitude and appreciation to the Secretary-General of the Council of Ministers, the Governor of Thi Qar, and the leadership of the Reconstruction Fund for their continued attention and support for educational institutions. He emphasized that the implementation of these projects would contribute significantly to improving the quality of educational and academic services provided by the college.
