The Dean of Thi Qar Technical College, Professor Dr. Hussein Tuwakan Abdullah, chaired on Monday, 29 December 2025, the meeting of the Council of the Department of Cybersecurity Engineering Technologies, in the presence of the academic and administrative staff, to discuss a number of scientific and administrative issues related to the progress of the educational process in the department.

The meeting addressed the discussion of academic plans and mechanisms for their development in line with the rapid advancements in the field of cybersecurity, in addition to reviewing laboratory requirements and ways to strengthen the practical aspect, contributing to the preparation of students with advanced technical skills capable of keeping pace with scientific and practical developments in this field.

During the meeting, the Dean emphasized the importance of concerted efforts between academic and administrative staff to enhance the department’s academic level, stressing the necessity of keeping up with technological developments and adopting modern methods in education and training.
