Under the patronage of the Dean of Thi Qar Technical College, Prof. Dr. Hussein Touqan Abdullah, the Human Rights Unit, in cooperation with the Student Activities Division, organized the “Letter to a Martyr” initiative to commemorate the victims of the Speicher Massacre and honor their everlasting sacrifices.

The initiative witnessed the participation of college students who expressed, through their letters, feelings of loyalty, gratitude, and appreciation for the martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the homeland. The participants emphasized the importance of remembering these sacrifices and promoting the values of national belonging and pride in the heroic deeds of Iraq’s sons.

This initiative is part of the awareness-raising and humanitarian activities implemented by the college to strengthen national consciousness among students and to commemorate the martyrs who, through their pure blood, wrote remarkable chapters of sacrifice, courage, and devotion to their country.
