Thi Qar Technical College held, Sunday  1 January 2026, a mourning stand in front of the College Deanship to commemorate the annual anniversary of the martyrdom of the Leaders of Victory. The event was attended by the Dean of the College, Professor Dr. Hussein Tukkan Abdullah, the Assistant Dean for Scientific Affairs and Students, Professor Dr. Shawqi Khalaf Mohammed, and the Assistant Dean for Administrative and Financial Affairs, Assistant Professor Dr. Hassan Talib Hashem, along with a number of faculty members and staff.

This stand was organized by the Student Activities Division of the college, in remembrance of the heroic and jihadist stances of the martyrs and the great sacrifices they made in defense of just human values and principles, embodying the meanings of loyalty and reverence for their steadfast and enduring history of struggle.

Participants affirmed that commemorating this anniversary reflects pride in the sacrifices of the martyrs and instills the values of resistance and steadfastness in the hearts of future generations, noting that the legacy of the martyrs will remain alive in the conscience of the free and continue to inspire the path of struggle.
