The Dean of Al-Dhi Qar Technical College, Prof. Dr. Hussein Tukkan Abdullah, paid a visit to the Deputy Governor of Al-Dhi Qar, Mr. Majid Hamid Al-Atabi, on Sunday, 14 December 2025, at his official office. The visit came within the framework of strengthening mutual cooperation and supporting the advancement of technical education in the province.

During the meeting, ways to develop the reality of technical education were discussed, along with mechanisms to support the educational process in a manner that contributes to raising the academic level and aligning educational outcomes with the needs of the labor market. A number of issues of mutual interest serving students and educational institutions were also addressed.

At the conclusion of the meeting, the Dean of Al-Dhi Qar Technical College presented the College Shield to the Deputy Governor, in addition to a letter of appreciation, in recognition of his efforts and continuous interest in following up on the college’s affairs and his ongoing support for educational institutions in Al-Dhi Qar Governorate.
