The Department of Accounting Technologies at Thi-Qar Technical College organized a scientific seminar titled “Information Security in Accounting Databases – Protecting Financial Data in Digital Systems.”

The seminar addressed the importance of protecting financial data within digital systems, focusing on key security techniques such as encryption and access permissions, in addition to highlighting the accountant’s role in maintaining information confidentiality and ensuring the integrity of accounting systems.

The seminar was presented by Lecturer Noor Faleh Hassan and contributed to raising the awareness of fourth-year students regarding the importance of data security and professional conduct when dealing with modern digital systems in the field of accounting.

The seminar aimed to educate students on the significance of information security in accounting databases, enhance their skills in safeguarding financial data using modern technologies, and promote a culture of professional responsibility in handling digital systems to ensure data confidentiality and accuracy.
