The Dean of Thi Qar Technical College, Professor Dr. Hussein Tuwakan Abdullah, received on Monday, 29 December 2025, the Dean of Mazaya University College, Professor Dr. Imad Ibrahim Al-Saidi, along with his accompanying delegation, within the framework of strengthening academic cooperation between the two educational institutions.

The visiting delegation included the Assistant Dean for Scientific Affairs at Mazaya University College, Professor Dr. Abdul-Aali Habib Al-Rikabi. From Thi Qar Technical College, the meeting was attended by the Assistant Dean for Scientific Affairs and Student Affairs, Professor Dr. Shawqi Khalaf Mohammed, and the Assistant Dean for Administrative and Financial Affairs, Assistant Professor Dr. Hassan Talib Hashim.

During the visit, the Dean and the visiting delegation toured the laboratories and academic departments of the college and reviewed the practical equipment and educational services available, which contribute to enhancing the quality of the educational process.

The meeting also discussed ways to develop scientific and academic cooperation, including the exchange of expertise, joint research projects, and shared educational programs, in a manner that contributes to raising the scientific and practical competence of students and keeps pace with modern academic and technological developments.

Both sides emphasized the importance of continuing communication and cooperation between the two institutions to enhance academic performance and open new horizons for scientific partnerships and joint projects, in support of the educational journey in Thi Qar Governorate.
