Faculty Member from Al-Thi Qar Technical College Participates in an International Conference on Agentic Artificial Intelligence in the Sultanate of Oman

A faculty member from Al-Thi Qar Technical College, Dr. Ahmed Abbas Jasim, participated in the International Multidisciplinary Conference on Intelligent Systems and Technologies, hosted by the College of Business Administration at the University of Al Sharqiyah in the city of Ibra, Sultanate of Oman, with the participation of a distinguished group of academics and researchers from various countries around the world.

His participation included presenting a scientific research paper that addressed the application of Agentic Artificial Intelligence (Agentic AI) techniques in detecting hardware Trojans within Network-on-Chip (NoC) architectures. The paper highlighted the role of machine learning techniques in enhancing the security of advanced electronic systems and ensuring the reliability of intelligent computing infrastructures.

This participation comes within the framework of Al-Thi Qar Technical College’s commitment to supporting scientific research and encouraging its faculty members to engage in academic openness and active participation in international scientific forums, contributing to raising the level of scientific output and strengthening the university’s presence in global conferences.

It is expected that the conference papers will be published in the Lecture Notes in Networks and Systems series issued by Springer, which is indexed in the Scopus database.

The conference also witnessed the participation of Lecturer Dr. Mahmoud Aref Lafta from the Technical Technological Institute, Assistant Lecturer Najlaa Nasrallah Fares, and Assistant Lecturer Shahad Hassan Alwan.
