Under the patronage of the Dean of Thi Qar Technical College, Prof. Dr. Hussein Tawkhan Abdullah, the Department of Cybersecurity Engineering Technologies, in cooperation with Al Ain University, organized a workshop entitled “Artificial Intelligence in Cybersecurity.” The workshop was held as part of efforts to enhance scientific cooperation and keep pace with the rapid developments in the digital field.

The workshop aimed to highlight the dual role of artificial intelligence in cyberspace by explaining how it can be employed as an advanced offensive tool, while at the same time being used as an effective line of defense for detecting security vulnerabilities and countering complex cyberattacks, thereby contributing to strengthening information security and protecting digital infrastructure.

The workshop was delivered by Assistant Professor Dr. Mohammed Abdulhadi Daij and Lecturer Mustafa Ali Juhaid.

The event was attended by the Dean of the College, Prof. Dr. Hussein Tawkhan Abdullah, the Assistant Dean for Administrative and Financial Affairs, Assistant Professor Dr. Hassan Talib Hashim, as well as a number of faculty members, staff, and students.
